Who We Are
Jim & Marla Linton
Jim and Martha Linton, founders of Our Fathers Place, Inc.,
have combined their educational and business backgrounds to provide
a safe, nurturing environment for emotionally disabled youth.
Jim has a Masters Degree in Special Education with over
16 years of experience in EC and Alternative Education. His hands-on
approach is the driving force behind the growth and strength the
organization is experiencing. His leadership is accredited to
the success of the organization. Many of the successes of the
children are due to the programs Jim has implemented. Marla is
a certified MAPP Instructor with five years of experience working
with at risk adolescents. She has opened a Level III
girls home realizing the lack of therapeutic residential
services available for adolescent females. Together, Jim &
Marla have had a history of successful experiences with children
at risk.
Danny Nolen Executive Director
Danny has a Masters Degree in Counseling along with 26 years
of experience working with children and families. His experience
with the juvenile court system, private practice and years with
a wilderness therapeutic treatment center has enhanced his understanding
of the needs of children at risk and their families. Danny is
also a clinically certified forensic counselor and currently serves
on the Board of Strength Based Services International.
Dr. Joseph C. Stegman
Dr. Joseph C. Stegman is a Board Certified Pediatrician, certified
by the American Board of Pediatrics. He graduated from Indiana
University School of Medicine in 1978. He served in the U.S. Navy
for 8 years as a physician. While serving, he completed his pediatric
training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland
in 1985. Joes special interest is Add. In February, 2003
he achieved sub specialty status in developmental and behavioral
pediatrics.
Clay Camp MA
Clay Camp is a Licensed Psychological Associate
who has worked in the capacity of a therapist since 1991. He specializes
in sexual offender specific services and working with conduct
disordered youth. He has substantial experience and training related
to providing services for juveniles with reactive attachment issues.
He is a member in good standing of the American Psychological
Association and the North Carolina Association for the Treatment
and Management of Sexual Offenders.
